This website is a redesign version of the Wikipedia page for Inner Mongolia. Every word is vertically typeset because the official language of Inner Mongolia, the Mongolian Script, writes and reads in this way. Because of the fact that Mongolian Script didn’t accommodate to the western typing system, when it’s typed on screen, it looks like this. So many Inner Mongolian people choose to use CHINESE or ENGLISH more often, so this language is at disadvantage in its users’ daily life.
This website is an imaginary space where Mongolian Script is the dominate language in this world, so ENGLISH needs to be vertically typed to adapt to the Mongolian typing custom.
